On August 18, 2004 , the 400 th Anniversary of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib was commemorated at the White House in Washington , D.C. and a souvenir booklet presented to President George W.Bush, who honored Sikh-American hero, Sgt. Uday Singh. The occasion was hosted by the Sikh Council on Religion and Education (SCORE).

On October 2, 2004, a Memorial was dedicated at Fort Riley , Kansas , for the “Global War on Terrorism.” The name of Sgt. Uday Singh was included on the memorial. Major General Dennis E.Hardy presided and Lt. Colonel P.M. Singh was present, representing the family and the Foundation.

On October 17, 2004 , copies of a souvenir book were presented to the attendees at the Annual Indo-American Center Fundraiser in Oak Brook , Illinois . One page of the souvenir book was dedicated to the memory of Sgt. Uday Singh. Mr. and Mrs. Datt were present, representing the family and the Foundation. Donations were presented to the Foundation in Sgt. Singh's honor after presentation of a eulogy.

On December 4, 2004 , the First Anniversary of Sgt. Uday Singh's supreme sacrifice was memorialized and honored at Arlington National Cemetery by a special prayer service conducted by the Sikh Youth and Community of Washington D.C Area. Articles covering the service were published in the Washington Post on December 5, 2004 and at washingtonpost.com.

In December, 2004 St. Stephen's School Chandigarh, India dedicated its annual yearbook, the Stephenian, to the memory of Sgt. Uday Singh.

On January 11, 2005 , a permanent “Martyr's Memorial” was dedicated at St. Stephen's School in Chandigarh , India . The ceremony was attended by Lt.Col.Singh and Ms.B.Taunque. The Foundation grants and scholarships were announced and awarded at this ceremony.

On February 28, 2005 , the Memorial Book of the Asian-American Coalition of Chicago's 21 st Annual New Year Celebration, in Chicago , Illinois , included a salute to Sgt.Uday Singh.

On March 22, 2005 , an exhibit inspired by Annette Polan, “Faces of the Fallen,” was inaugurated at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, located at the Arlington National Cemetery . A portrait of Sgt. Uday Singh was included. Present were General Myers Joint Chief's of Staff, Brigadier General W.L.Vaught among others Sgt. Singh's parents, Lt.Col Singh and Ms. Singh were also present. The exhibit was also visited by Ms. Datt and Ms. Taunque.

On May 17, 2005 , the Sikh Council on Religion and Education held its first Memorial Dinner at the Dirksen Federal Building in Washington , D.C. , honoring all Sikh soldiers who have fought valiantly in battle since World War II. The sacrifice by Sgt. Uday Singh was recognized at this dinner. Lapel pins with Sgt. Singh's portrait were distributed. Those in attendance included U.S.Senators Lugar and Clinton, many members of the U.S.House of Representatives and Ms.Datt.

The Foundation also gave a grant of $500 to FRG C-CO 1-34AR and another of $500 to St. Stephen's School as part of the scholarships of the year 2005-2006.

In memory of Fallen Soldiers of Illinois and Wisconsin , a memorial named Arlington Midwest has been established and a cross bearing Sgt. Uday Singh's name was placed at the memorial site. The cross also bears the Sikh Symbol “The KHANDA”.
